Yoga has been a part of my life since I am 12 years old. My first ever yoga class actually happened in my living room at home in front of the TV with a Nintendo Wii balance board and an animated as my teacher. Ever since, Yoga is a crucial part of my life to find the balance in physical and mental challenges.
As I have grown up and became more and more interested and invested in software engineering, I somehow managed to understand my fascination for the rather technical way of approaching yoga at the beginning. In the meantime, I prefer human interaction between student and teachers, of course. In 2018, I have concluded my 200 hours Yoga Alliance Teacher training in Hatha Yoga with Zuna Yoga (Everett & Katherine Newell) in Bali, Indonesia. I admire the how scientific proof of benefits through yogic practice connect with these old traditions and can be combined in a modern approach to Yoga.
Next to Hatha Yoga, I also practice Ashtanga and AcroYoga (acrobatic yoga). Principles
of both Hatha and AcroYoga
will always be present in my classes as I frequently do partner exercises where we help
each other into difficult poses and give support. I always try to create an atmosphere
in my classes that allows to both find ease and challenges, especially by learning and
exploring new poses. I typically hold space in every class for a short workshop-style
break where we look at a pose in a bit more detail and depth.
I teach in English and in German if needed.

AcroYoga is a yoga style where two and more people practice together which is an extra challenge for your own body awareness and being able to connect and communicate with other bodies. It is also an extremely fun way of practicing yoga.
I discovered AcroYoga in 2016 when I studied in California and my life has not been the same ever since. Movement and connection through AcroYoga makes me happy and always bringtens up my day - which is why I love to share it with others by teaching the fundamental principles and elements of this beautiful practice
